MOSCOW, Mar 16 (PRIME) – Deputies of the State Duma lower house of parliament suggested raising the mortgage rates under the state-supported programs to 10–12% from the current 7%, head of the Committee for the Financial Market Anatoly Aksakov said on Wednesday.
"Discussion continues, it is not finished, and I think, it (the state-supported mortgage rate) will be increased. I cannot say to what extent. There are proposals of 12% and 10%," he said, adding that he hopes for 10%.
He added that the current limit on interest rates on loans to the small business increased to 15% and for the medium business to 13%.
